In order to apply for membership, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• Be 18 years of age
• Attended three local outings (e.g. Devils Lake) or one Western outing
  • Please note your outing dates and rope leader names for your application
• Have two current CMC Members sponsor your application
  • Please ask your sponsors for permission to put them down on your application!

After meeting the requirement of attendance at three local outings, or one Western Outing, applications for membership with fees are presented to the Vice President/Membership Chair. The Vice President consults rope leaders with whom the applicant has climbed, as well as the two sponsors for additional information. Names are first presented to the membership at a regular meeting. Names are read a second time at a board meeting for final approval by the Board of Directors.
